 The Institute of Modern Spanish launches new projects:
the Institute of Modern English and IME KIDS!
After 15 years of dedication to teaching Spanish to incoming students, the Institute of Modern Spanish will open its doors to local Merida residents who wish to learn English.
Our project--the Institute of Modern English--opened in August 2010. Due to our magnificent location in the most up-and-coming area of Merida (high-tech hospitals and several universities are close as well as new residential areas), the Institute of Modern English attracts young professionals, doctors, nurses, college professors, and college students. The program is structured similar to the Institute of Modern Spanish classes in that conversation and grammar will be covered in separate classes.
IME KIDS! (Institute of Modern English KIDS!) attracts kindergarten through junior high students. This afternoon program provides conversation to advanced group, general English, and homework help for bilingual school students. IME KIDS! also has a Saturday morning program.
